Inclement weather (1).png

Inclement Weather Cancellations for Outdoor Classes: The National Resource Center for Health and Safety in Child Care and Early Education recommends that children not play outdoors in temperatures above 90°F. If temperatures exceed 90°F, it is raining, or a tornado watch is in effect, we will not meet outdoors. Each class has a built-in rain date. We will cancel the first class with inclement weather and utilize this rain date. If additional inclement weather days occur, we will meet online during our usual class time.

Mondays / 10:30 AM / Brentwood (Forest Hills United Methodist Church Shade Tree, 1250 Old Hickory Blvd., Brentwood, TN 37027)

(Music Pups®: Ages newborn through four years + parent/caregiver)

This outdoor class gives families social distancing choices. Small yellow caution cones are set up 12 feet apart to mark our outdoor classroom. Families place a blanket near a cone to mark their zone. Families who wish to observe social distancing will place a red cone over their yellow cone. We will remind students that "red means stop." Families who want their children to interact closely with other families may explore all zones with a yellow cone.  We hope this allows parents to easily adjust class guidelines to their own comfort level from week to week in a way that young children easily understand.
