As the weather is improving, we have made plans to offer a limited number of outdoor class options. These outdoor classes will be 4-week mini sessions. Space will be limited to 7 families per class to allow for easy social distancing. Guidelines will be strictly enforced to ensure the safety of our teachers and participants. These mini-sessions will be our trial run of outdoor classes. If they are a success, we'll offer them through the summer.
Outdoor Mini-Sessions:
ELLINGTON AG CENTER:
Thursdays: 9:30-10:15 AM & 10:30-11:15 AM
Location: We will meet in a grassy public area in the Ellington Agricultural Center. We'll send specific location information to participants via email.
Class dates: April 22, 29, May 6 & 13.
Instructor: Rachel Hoffman
Tuition: $75 per household (enroll one child and sibling can tag along)
Class size: 7 households + 1 instructor
Important details: In rainy weather, class will meet online. There are no in-person make-ups for outdoor classes because we must strictly maintain class sizes to allow for social distancing and still be heard by all participants. No make-ups or guests are permitted in outdoor classes. Do not attend class if you are feeling ill, are showing any symptoms of Covid-19, or if you have been exposed to anyone with Covid-19. Teachers will wear masks and will not touch any class participants. Participants under two should not wear a mask. All other participants will wear masks.
WHAT TO EXPECT/HOW TO PLAN:

PARTICIPANTS BRING:
-
A blanket or rug to sit on.
-
Instruments for your household's use. (Eggs/Shakers, sticks, drums or homemade equivalents.)
-
Face masks to wear. (Students under two do not need to wear a mask, per CDC guidelines.)
